Hi, I was curious about the Voice part of the game. Assuming from what I've been reading in some of the other posts, if you're going to do new music, ships, missions, etc. you'll also probably be needing people who are actors to deliver the written lines appropriately. Will you be sending out a casting call on BC2 Forum or hiring directly from/thru an agency? I know I'd be interested, and I've got a background in Vocal Acting.
Anyway, if this is already been posted, I apologize. It's kind of a stress to read through all 1 billion pages just to find something like this. Anyway, if it's already been answered just let me know and put the topic to rest. But if it's still a possibility...Tell me where to sign!!!
Thanks,
Fleet Captain Hash

I've heard someone had offered their studio as a service but that was a few months back and haven't heard anything since.
Even if we were to go through an agency (=too much money) we wouldn't get everything we needed, some parts will have to come from others, which we have 2 or 3 volunteers knocking around. Ideally we should have at least 10.

Well, I essentially have my own studio on my computer, so if you need more volunteers, I'll be more than happy to do it. Anyone need a resume? I just need a script. I'd love to act for Star Trek!

I think the british regional accents aren't going to fit well on a starship!

Yes, token comical scottish guy. Geordie dude at the helm and a scouse lad standing behind the captain are going to bode SOOO well with the american audience.

Well the main problem is that we need impersonators. If you can do impersonations, we could use your help.

sorry been gone along time, been re reading forums and ran across this so i had to responde to this
"Working this through:
Women = Money x Money
and since (Money)^2= All Evil:
Women = All Evil
It even works out mathematically!"
Men = Immature x Annoying
and since (Annoying + Immature)^2 = Single and Desperate
Men = "error in line 1" sorry men are not complicated try simple
2+2 * 3-1 / super bowl sundy != more dead brain cells
program terminated due to error, contact admin for help or assistance or try Immature + Beer + Superbowl - Forgetfull = all MEN
hope you got a smile all
for those that can't think out of code, yes it is flawed and is surposed to be lol

Hi, Ive been reading through alot opf the threads the past few days, and decided Id finally register so I could post.
Looking good so far, keep up the good work.
Also, friends have told me I can pull off fairly decent impersionations of people or change my voice easily.
If you could give me a list of impersonations you would like, or characters you still need voices for (for the latter, perhaps describe what kind of voice they might have), I can try to see if I can do that.
Id love to be part of this project, but unfortunatly have no 3D modeling programs, and no paint program (other than MS paint....I know, its sad)...I used to use GMAX, but that was over 6 months ago. Though, I can pick up scripting rather quickly.

i may be wrong but in any case to me it seems that one of the things that have been missing from the beginning is mission scripters since it takes alot of detailed work, debugging and so one. there are tons of model folk, and lots of other work being done but if you search the bcfiles or here there isn't alot of scripted missions. i am currently learning but far from doing anything with potential.

Depends, which of the four British Accents would you choose? British, English or Scottish?
