i know this probably isnt the right place for this, and i know it might not be possible given the current list of bridges...
but in keeping with the current mass of Stargate ships being released on BCfiles it might be nice to have some bridges to use them with
such as the X-303 Prometheus, X-304 Daedalus and if its workable the Goa'uld Ha'tak...
as i said i know theres a lot of bridges on the to-do list
any thoughts?

start thinking about requests.

I'll leave this open to discussion, but i doubt there will be another answer for the time being. |
btw, you may want to renumber the second point 5 to 7.

If you don't like non Star Trek things in BC, then too bad.
There is an immensly simple sollution that is so easy, that you don't have to do anything for it.
Namely: don't download it.
No need to go bashing other peoples oppinions.
Yes, I know I'm currently bashing the oppinion about: "Voicing oppinions on the right of needlessly bashing other peoples oppinions".

Do you really need to keep posting the link to that stupid thread? Some people like ENTERPRISE, some people dont... no point continuing to argue about it.
Keep on topic - Mark

Yeah, anyway.
Although some people aren't interested in a Stargate bridge etc, some people are. What is the point in posting "and Satan will be skating to work the day anything stargate graces my copy of BC."? Yes it's a Star Trek game, but seriously, to automatically dismiss something just because it's not Star Trek is plain narrow minded.
I think a Stargate bridge would make a nice change, and i welcome the idea.

i would welcome the idea also... if a bridge wasnt so much work
Ive just had to edit a LOAD of off topic and spam.. can we please remember that this is not a place for discussing either the demise of enterprise or the popularity of stargate

wow, i can only imagine what it was like before the edits
*shivers* glad im not a moderator. all thou hitting 'delete' over and over again does sound fun......
oh yeah, stargate bridge. all there really is to say about that is good idea, REALLY REALLY bad timing.
mabey once that extremly insanely long list of
amazing bridge projects are done and the poor souls who make them are willing to go near bc again it might get made.
Or you could model it and work your way through the tough stuff with help and advice from the bc bridge making community.
but next time, to save yourself the trouble of oppinion bashing, read the stickies

lol, that got out of hand!
Sorry for inciting that. For the record, I was joking.
I'd love to have seen what the responses were in any case. And that's the last last I'll say about it.
Gotta say, as far as an X-303 bridge is concerned, it's one ship that for some reason, I've always wanted to walk around. The sets are tacky, but tacky in a real way... if that makes any sense.
My point is, an Immersion map of the 303's main deck would be cool. I've barely watched Atlantis due to laziness (Asgard on the bridge! WTF?!) so I dunno if the 304 has the same "feel" to it.

If someone is willing to make an the sets of the 303 i'm more than happy to do all the scripting and make an immersion map
I have made several rooms like a sick bay (all be them very simple and poor and without lightmaps and barely recognisable and full of model errors) in milkshape and exported them as bridges in BC. So it is possible, just needs sumone to model, texture and lightmap the sets lol. I guess they don't have to be brilliant. Perhaps the models aleady exist sumwhere we could port them from?

Ok guys this thing got way messy in my Absence.
So iŽll take the simpler of all solutions. Thread locked.
Astartes: We canŽt accept the idea now, not because we like or not stargate, but due to the work overload.
We might consider it again in the future.
For all the other guys: We have a forum for general discussion other for techincal issues and some for SPAM. Keep that things there, ok?
This forum is for bridge modding only, and weŽll restrain the discussions to that.
