Ok, putting alot of work into this one. The tail and body are finished for the most part, the only thing remaining to do now is the nacelle struts, which have to be rebuilt. The general shape of the struts, however, will remain, so I am posting pics of the current mesh as well as the mesh itself.

Generally, this ship is a battle carrier, the command ship for a battle group or a task force. Much like an aircraft carrier is the anchor for a modern task force on the sea. This ship would have firepower that exceeds a Sov by a factor of three, but would be much less menuverable and slower at impulse and maximum warp. This is not a space-superiority starship....it is intended to launch fighters and carry a small contingent of troops.

The vessel carries similar weapons to the Sov, and also has short range high power defensive weaponry, ala DS-9 type batteries. The emphasis is on defense, and in this respect this ship will excel, with heavy armor and shielding.

I still don't like the overall shape of it, sry.

IMHO it is somehow...improminent..it has nothing to be famous like an enterprise...I'm missing the eyecandy on it...it is just that: plain.

It doesn't look anything like the Premonition. More like the Ares, Excalibur, Sovereign, & Achillies. I love it. Looks "BAD". I wouldn't want that thing locking its crosshairs on ~me~!
