This is just to let you all know, in case you don't frequent BCC, that the USS Schumann is nearly complete. I'm working on the HP right now, and the hard part of that is done.
The HP should be complete by the end of the weekend or so, after which there will be a few loose ends to tie up and I will release the ship, probably early next week.

phaser arcs are all set up now, and everything else is in place. I have to do the strength and balancing on the HP still.
here are some ingame shots I took.

That is so freakin cool!! Nice job. I usually add to ships to the game using BCMP. Will this one be set up to allow me to add it using BCMP?

She's stunning, I ought to try and convince you to do the intrepid refit we have. I think you would do it justice.

Thanks guys.
I'm hoping to have the three ship pack released on Sunday morning. I have yet to talk to Starforce about a BCFiles launch, however.
To be honest, there's still a lot of work to do as far as HP tweaking, tgl's etc.
That being said, the ship handles pretty well in game, not too powerful, not too weak. It's a match for the higher end ships of the previous generation of starships. (SNS Galaxy) It can give Supremus a bloody nose too, but not much more than that. It will have similar shielding to Supremus, and be more manueverable, but it doesn't compare in terms of sheer firepower.
Raven - thanks for the compliment. i wish I could take on some new projects for BC before Legacy comes out, but it's not going to happen, unfortunately. I have final exams in a couple of weeks, and after that I start four weeks of student teaching, so i'm a busy boy. You could sent me the mesh and I'll have peek at it tho.

I'm really waiting for it!
There are 14400 seconds till Sunday, sooooo.... 14399,....14398....,14397...,14396...........
I'll test it against your Supremus class. The Intrepid grandson, against the Sovvy's grandson. Awesome

I only have 2 gripes with this mod
1. I know its not a canon ship but I think the bussard collectors should be a deeper shade of red instead of pinkish red.
2. Like you said, secondary deflectors make a ship look ugly but there is a lot of unused space on the front of the saucer section on your mod. I dont know what you could put there but its just something to think about.
The saucer registery would look better if it were a little larger.
It would also look better with some aztecing patterns.

starforce--> if only i had the time.
supersmeg--> the bussard color is not the same all over. it goes from a deep red on the outsides to a very light red at the "lights". In game when it's glowing it looks really good.
Regarding the saucer section, i'd suggest you check out the thread over at BCC, as it's been discussed.
Also, the ship actually has a lot of hull panelling and aztecing. Look closely. Particularly at the first picture.
