Well...technically it is now. Funny how ENT seems to inherit everything from the NEM deleted scenes. First Stephen Culp, then the captain's chair...

Well, they had a useful prop that came in handy so they decided to use it! I haven't seen any of the latest ENT eps though, mostly after that Nazi copout. What were they thinking?

the last three episodes have been really good, although the ending to the last one could have been more subtle

Viper, I'll give an update when I'll start makeing the ceiling, there's nothing to post about right now, because in the other's views it'll be the same...I'm just welding a sh*tload of verts and deleting faces that can't be seen from inside the bridge... |
I know. Its just fun to be on the other end of that statement. Since I am usually the one being asked.

Yeah I know it's a useful prop I just don't like Enterprise after the Nazi bit so I take my time to insult the show in any shape or form.

My parents lost faith in ENT after that awful "A Night in Sickbay," which I know my father was screaming at when he watched it. Heck, can't say I blame him!! Maybe I will try recording a few of them to see how it is now, though, if only to rip 'em.

Tooie if you ever think about it I could whip you up some Sovereign LCARS template for you to work on for Nemesis and FC style LCARS panels.

Not really I am only doing the LCARS for Nemesis I want to keep it current on the bridge also I like the Nemesis bridge better than the others noffence.
In order to make the FC version of the bridge several things that will need to be changed one the viewscreen, two the consoles like the stand up ones and the two consoles next to the side main consoles (I call them that because they are part of the room it self) third the chairs will need to be edited, fourth will be the remianing items that will need to be removed.
Know I don't want to throw this on to Adonis beings he voilinteered to fix and finish the bridge for me meshing area. If the Nem version is going well on the textureing and the lighting then I will go ahead amd make the neccarry changes for a FC version for you FC people.
If LC and Viper say its a good idea.
There will be one problem with the FC bridge they haven't really eviled the console LCARS the main wall ones are an excepiton.

There's a Japanese LCARS site that has Nemesis-style LCARS displays. Here it is. It's a little hard to navigate (since I don't know Japanese too well), but you'll be able to get the gyst of it.

Rat Boy, it is considered forum etiquette not to bump threads more than, say, a few weeks old unless you are directly involved with said thread...

that is where it stands... tooie will post updates as he arrives to them...

Last post and update was on January 5, almost three months ago. It was a fair question given the time lag. Looks like some people just jump on minor, almost non-infractions of the "ettiquette" too quickly.

That is correct. Thats where it stood. Dont you think updates would be posted as the author has them? Did you think that your post would envoke a new update?
Rat Boy wrote: | It was a fair question given the time lag. |
don't you think scripters and modders get tired of people asking them for an update, (you know, they do these things for free and in their offtime) hence the emoticon we have here at bcu : " " ?
Rat Boy wrote: | Looks like some people just jump on minor, almost non-infractions of the "ettiquette" too quickly. |
um, no, in fact it is common knowledge not to bump threads, as i said, unless you are directly involved in them... that's how it is here, at BCU, i guess you just weren't aware of that...
and on that note, this side-topic is finished

Given that it did the last time...
JimmyB76 wrote: | don't you think scripters and modders get tired of people asking them for an update, (you know, they do these things for free and in their offtime) hence the emoticon we have here at bcu : "" ? |
And I did not ask that. All I asked was if the project was still active after three months of no word. Perhaps the authors moved on to something else, perhaps they have taken some time away from modding all together, but how is anyone supposed to know unless we ask? Is asking a simple question, just once and not a thousand times a week like in other threads, now forbidden on these forums?
JimmyB76 wrote: | um, no, in fact it is common knowledge not to bump threads, as i said, unless you are directly involved in them... that's how it is here, at BCU, i guess you just weren't aware of that... |
If you want to call me on that or otherwise censure me, fine. I am aware of the ettiquette here and decided that the total lack of word on it warranted bending them slightly. If you, as a moderator, wish to do something about my action, fine, but I see nothing wrong in what I did and feel it doesn't warrant the kind of heavy-handedness I've seen in other threads that are constantly spammed with "Is it done yets?" Politeness and ettiquette swings both ways.

Ok.. this discussion is over.
RatBoy you're free to disagree, but this is the forum policy and it won't change.
Everyone else seem to agree about it.
If you have any more issues to discuss about it do it by PM and not hijacking other's people thread.
