          | It's annoying - especially with the Sov class - when she's got her back or sides to the enemy all the time!
She [the ship] spends half of the time [almost like she's in orbit] slowly turning through the phaser arcs, even when there's a full load of Quantum torpedoes just sitting there doing nothing!

on a side note, I'm not really kinda happy with the strength of CG_Sov's Quantums - they don't seem powerful enough.

This whole topic is a response to when I was the CG_Sov against 4 or 5 Keldons, which I kept getting creamed by them only because of mainly those 2 reasons.

And I don't just mean after I've taken out a few Keldons either - I don't think I actually destroyed any in the end! I had to call for reinforcements - yes, the FLAGSHIP of the Federation... having to call for reinforcements just because I couldn't handle a few Keldons

 'tis a sad day indeed.

          | i have a theory about this issue. the federation AI does not take disruptors into account when attacking through use of the AI. if you are using CG Soverign, i believe that it fires its quantum torpedos as if they are disruptors. try changing the AI of the soverign to that of the NonFedAttack AI. that AI takes disruptors into account when attacking. see if that helps, but to really make the best of the current FedAttack AI, it would have to be re-written to use both disruptors and phasers for you to really notice a difference.
