Contents removed due too much spamming in this Thread - it became useless.
Recommendation: Make a new Thread for this.

Okay, heres the lowdown on mods and MPMP. First of all, in order for multiplayer to work, every computer that is a part of the multiplayer game must have the EXACT same files. Thats why you got the file mismatch. Second, by default ships that you add to the game are not added to the multiplayer setup screen. You will need some scripting knowledge for this. Third, the MPMP website is http://www.digital-underground.us/

o the lovely world of mismatches:
when you play multiplayer there are several folders that are checked:
scripts/ships
scripts/ships/hardpoints
scripts/mainmenu
scripts/multiplayer
with the exception of scripts/multiplayer, no other files can have mismatches. multiplayer files in the multiplayer folder can be downloaded, but there is a risk that you will have to reinstall the mods. The multiplayer scripts also make other mods incompatible unless they are edited. this is why MPMP and BC expanse or the Unoffical BC series are not compatible with each other.
when you put ships into scripts/ships and there corresponding hardpoint into scripts/ships/hardpoints, you have to make sure that when you are done installing that there are no py files at all. when you start the game the files are updated by the py file changing the time and date of the pyc files and causing the mismatch.
when you install foundation, you must delete the py file there as well, along with any py files in the multiplayer folder.
py files are required for the bcmp and for BC in the scripts/Custom folder. in multiplyer ships are not called the same way into the game as in single player. they are listed in the speciestoship.pyc file. This is why it is safe to have py files in the scripts/Custom folder.
i think thats my 2 cents in for now, have any other questions feel free to ask.

Oh dear...typical AOL user. What makes you thinking you get personal support? If you have a question, ask here in this Forum and please make you own Thread for this.

most modders that make mods do not allow additional modifications to there mod without consent. I for one do not allow anyone to mod MPMP at all. If they wanted to make a contribution then they are more than welcome to join the team.
