I actually don't make textures for my ships. I model the details into them and just use materials in max.

nope. I've been focussing on making BC ships. I haven't actually completed a CGI mesh since last summer. However I can post a pic of the ship at last status. Also, I've already finished two more BC ships that are as yet unreleased, and have a bit of a backlog of projects atm, so if anybody wants to continue working on this I'd be happy to send them the mesh.
