Those aren't variants. They're production sketches for what eventually became the Intrepid Class we all know and love (well, most of us, anyway Razz

).

Would you believe this came very, very close to being the final design for Voyager? It's true!

Only at the last second did the producers call for a rework.

I remember that one! It was on the "Journey's End" special before "All Good Things" aired if I remember correctly. Someones got to make that too.

I would prefer the first one. It looks more like Trek. The Conceptmodel lookes absolutely crap - in my opinion!

I would like to see the top one in BC - that would rock!

since when did any other woman play janeway? Captain janeway was played by the same person the entire series.

Genevieve Bujois (not sure on spelling) was originally planned to play Captain Janeway. A french woman, playing a woman from Indiana, USA Razz

Well... I guess Picard being french, and played by a british actor aint such a hot pick either. But damn, this woman really sucked as Janeway. Check the extra material from season 1 Voyager DVDs and you'll see what I mean. No emotion whatsoever from that woman.
