Not sure if there possible but I had a few suggestions for extra stuff on the bridge in bc2.
Would it be possible to display useful information on the bridge display panels. For instance the sensor display from the HUD in tactical view would be really useful if it could be seen on the bridge. Possibly on the EntA bridge it could be put on the panel between the con and helm seats.
The damage display from the HUD would also be useful.
Something that I know is possible would be if it could be coded so that felix alerts the you when enemy ships warp into the system. I know in the game missions he turns and say "Sir we have company". So if that could be put in would be great since at the moment if your on the bridge you have no idea when somethings entering the system unless your constantly at the tactical station.

Now guys, I would just like to add, that landing on planets should be possible with Birds of Prey, Defiant class vessels....bah....small ships, and shuttles etc. (I think ya get tha point)....
You could make a few base structures, and combine them with different types of textures for different classes of planets, making a planets surface a new level to load (if this crazy idea of mine is possible)...
Really would love to see (or play) the BoP's go on a planet and attack a Jem'hadar base like in DS9...

Yeah landing on planets, what about the Intrepid Class Ships because in Voyager they landed on planets time & time again. So What bout Intrepids being in the Mod

There'll be no canon ships in BC2. The reason why is explained in the BC2 FAQ thread.

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum. I'm please to see that a BC2 is on it's way, and that people look kinda motivated by that.
So, if I understand this tread, we post what could be cool to implement in BC2.
Here are my Idea:
1- Point defence.
Here I mean something like they did with the Nebula class in STAII. Some small phaser that shoot incoming torpedo before they hit. Even if I'll like to see that on battleship, since they are build mainly for battle, it would be good for the ''power balance'' that this point defence is a:slow cooling time and b:have a range below the shielding effective range (in the case of bubble type shielding).
2-Some more voice action. By this i mean like if you give a order, you can hear the Captain actually say it. Also, back ground voice, like crewman saying technical stuff, more damage report coming in, anyway....you get the picture.
3-Even if it's a minor detail, make weapon as 'realistic' as possible....not a 30 min firing phaser or a 2 week long reloading torpedo. It's annoying when you have a ''State of the heart'' ship, build for battle...having weapon that takes forever to fire.
4- Adjustable firing yield for the Torpedo. So that they can fire Faster with less power or take longer but a hell of a wallop.
5-If possible, give a option for multi player to play on the same ship, but on different post. Like a friend play the engineer, a other piloting and a other Tactic. That would be kinda cool...instead of having 1 ship alone...(my 2 cents)
I have a LOTS of ideal....but I'll keep it for a other time and try to get more in the context before I say to mutch...

Edited: I just remember something that must be put up...Evasive action that dosent stop you to fire weapon (Phaser at least) like in BC1.

They already have something like that in the direct tactical interface, you have weapon types, and it is probably possible to expand on that, but you would then have to go to keyboard controls.

The projected release date was/is May, 2004. Ships and mods will be released as they are completed, with the new campaign being the last part released. All this is covered in the BC2 FAQ thread.
