Pre-FC/Voyager BORG! MAN they were freaky! Gave me nightmares!

Now, after they've been made to look so stupid in Voyager and almost every game, they just don't do it anymore for me.

Not me. I'm with you and Galaxy Class: I can still remember the frisson I felt when I first saw them. Pre-FC Borg, though, are actually too nightmarish to be realistic in the Star Trek universe: the Federation wouldn't stand a chance against those Borg.

Having Q stank from the start. It's like mixing magic & science in the same program: it doesn't work - it's even less believe than having pre-FC Borg. I don't watch episodes with Q in them (excepting the episode where the Borg are first encountered!).

But why is there such a hatred towards the Post FC Borg.
I thought they looked and acted much better that the Pre FC Borg.

Weyune is now an andorian. It just doesn't fit. He's been a few other things too. He's best the the Vorta, although I think he'd do well as an "Agent" in one of the Matrix movies.

Post FC borg were more advanced and much more menacing so I think ther are pretty interesting. Why aren't Hirogens up there? They were mean, cruel, had no morality. They were great at being villians. The Q family were very menacing, fun to watch, and not to mention humorous. Q and his son did everything for fun. He actualy had humor in making Picard suffer in the most hillarious if not frightning ways. He was a hero in some stories and a villan in others. John Delancie filled the part like no one else could. I have to favorite villans, the BORG and "Q"

I would DEFINATELY love to see Star Trek 11 made and a plot where Riker's career begins and now Q shows up and now picks on Mr.Troi and i am sure he'll mention Picard in the film now that's something we need! they need to add Q in the films!
