hello iamb new to this forum and know so much about modding bc
hey by the way whats the best multiplayer mod out cos im kinda combining about 100 odd ships into multiplayer for a universal pack, just wondered if this has bin done yet, i already added 53 to multiplayer, of course not got all the ships balanced yet tho , will take a very long time me thinks
Oh this may answer why ships in multiplayer can't use icons like in quick battle, i tried to make a new species class in app.py but it refers to appc for species so it kinda impossible to do as appc is written in game source code ,
but i can get all tgl's to work in multiplayer so easy with bcmp
plz reply i dont want to waste my time if this universal mod is a waste of time

There is the MPMP by this Master ^two posts above^ which is - I think very famous and right now the one most advanced. And there are the so called 'unofficial 1.3 patch' which is really outdated...and there is my Mod FBCMP with Bot support (MPMP, ATP3, Shuttle Launching, Bridge in the work), but only playable by german speakers cause of its localization files.

Don't think that is a waste of time if you can get some people that are unhappy with the current MP Mods to play with yours.

Is it possible to remove ships from MPMP?
As it stands, MPMP has MORE than enough ships...too many for me.
If so, how do you remove ships?

There are too many ships for my taste.
I'm never ever going to have a need for six types of Borg ships or any Species 8472 ships.

MPMP just happens to have a lot of ships I don't want and a lot of ships I don't need.
Does anyone know how I can extract elements (IE, the ships I do want) of MPMP and put it into regular BC?
For instance, the ships I want are -
Dominion - Bug, Battlecruiser, Battleship
Breen - Frigate
Starfleet - Excelsior, Miranda, Saber, Defiant, Venture-Subtype Galaxy
Borg - Cube

I wrote a program in Quick Basic that automates adding ships into multiplayer if anyone wants a copy quigon@hotmail.com i use it on my lan games with my mates works a treat everytime a new ship comes out that we like

Now I don't have to go through that annoying process of adding them to the script file, or get a 200+ mb file.
