Free form deformer.
It creates a bounding box around the selected part of the model, and using it you can distort the overall shape.

Well. Looking at this I know what I want for christmas. Might make a good trek based series (go back to the drawing board for a ship to go "where no man has gone before" approach).

Nothing quite like that. There's falloff tools such as the magnet, drag and taper that do the same trick though.

Actually, the plot says that the infinity took a year to build. Damn, that guy must be psychic.

I think Raven intends to release the CG meshes on something like Star Trek Austrailia or via nightsoft at a later date.
You see, we like to take our time with this. Our models are brewed slowly for that fuller taste.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm asking because I wouldn't mind sorting this ship out for Star Trek Armada 2 at some point in the future. CGI or lower game ready model. it doesn't matter to me either way, as I've done quite a few recreations (voyagers Areoshuttle for example). Its just my texture creation sucks.

I heard this thing is supposed to be powered by an Omega particle. Is this true?

Yes, it was true. The Omega core provides a good portion of the power for this.
Aaaand it looks like he's gone now . . . hope it's finished

Omega powered warp core? I can't imagine what would happen if the warp core failed. No more warp travel!!! That would be really infeasible, since we know the previous failure of Omega in "The Omega Directive." Probably for one heck of a last ditch resort.
Do you command this ship throughout the whole game?
