ok then, something very fishy's going on here.....
for the Sovereign bridge, non of the crew can say anything, and when I go towards the viewscreen, I start going up and up and up - which should've happened on the Galaxy bridge, but it DOESN'T on the Gal!
oh and also, the Red Alert lights didn't seem to work either [it didn't go dark with the Red Alert lights flashing]

ah, I see now...
It doesn't seem to work by default, but when I went to green alert then to red [it's red by default], the Red Alert lights come on. I don't think it considers it to be an error - could it be some sort ot system cache that wasn't cleaned out? [wild guess there]
Also when I warped to anonther system, it seemed to have cleared up the voice sound & I walked level on the Sov bridge - but still can't 'go up the hill' on the Galaxy.
But then again [for both bugs] when I 'reset' QB, it was back to how it was.

when i turn the muting off it changes to muffled. even still i have voices 3/8 of the time

I did not notice that but I managed to fix the AWOL felix bug
I am not sure if it was one or both of these but:
1. I switched my Felix.py from EQBP with the stock one in the SDK
2. I turned on the button in configs that makes the camera turn toward the viewscreen when I click on felix

for the defiant holocom bridge...I noticed that the y-value of the player's camera is way too high.
it's ok when you walk around, but when you sit in the chair...well.
I'm running on an unpatched KM 0.9 with UMM and BCS:TNG:The Beginning closed beta...

I figured the sound out. turn both of them to mute. you don't have the weapons sound on the bridge, but you have all of the bridge sounds. And outside the ship you don't here the people talking or the bridge noises. to me i like it because if you were really outside the ship there wouldn't be any speaking, or bridge noises

That's the entire point of that particular plugin.
You can turn it off if you want, just activate the disable option.

I get the same interface as normal, the text goes really fast when someone says something, and I can't hear any sounds except the phaser fire. What do I need to do?

Mleo, I was addressing the voices on the bridge problem. If you disable the sound on the
bridge-space noise, you get the voices from saffi and the bridge characters on the bridge. I like it very much how you guys have it done.

by default the outside view will only let u hear outside sounds... it makes sense really, also when on the bridge you can only hear bridge sounds and hul impacts.
now when u download the unified main menu you have the option to allow muffled sounds between the two... or to just disable that part of the mod.

Great stuff!
I have most of the above problems, plus one.
Every second, i get a pause in gameplay of about a tenth of a second.
I figure it's a timer somewhere. I'll post a screendump soon.
And should this version of walkFX have the "Seatbelt" menu in Saffi's menu like in 0.02? All I have is the float-around mode, constantly, with no option or camera bob.

bridge plugin has nothing to do with walkfx... if u install it on a new install u wont be able to walk around..
Also your stuttering, does this happen every game or after a couple of battles?
regarding an update to this: if there is a need for a small patch it will be release as soon as its done. Version 0.9 will probably be at least a couple of months off.

I have the subtitles turned on, and I just see a white blur of text. But yeah, I'll d/l UMM and tell you if that fixes it.

Yeah, same here Jimmy, I get the same thing...
And I've figured out that some of the textures for the Sovereign are way to high for me right now (1024's for some) I'm resizing them because my compy can't handle it
