Its no big secret that I'm not a big fan of Enterprise, but I will continue to watch it faithfully because it is Star Trek. So, in your opinion, which is better? While I am a die hard Star Trek fan, I must give credit where credit is due, IMO BSG wins hands down on all aspects. I have to say that the mini-series and the two part premier was some of the best sci-fi that I've seen in years.

I just watched the first episode of BSG yesterday. I've seen the premier three times and I watch Enterprise every Friday. and I like both of them.

The new BSG theme SUCKS, but then again, my favorite show currently is still BSG.

I used to think that the NX-Class looks the Akira-Class, but they are quite different, I'm not just talking about the Nacelles, but the look in General

I think they intend the Akira to be an Homage to the NX

But with Prequals it's tricky to come up with a new/original ship design, becuase you're designing it after the latter ships

The new Battlestar is infinitly better than enterprise in my opinion. It's a far more interesting pliot line, deper characters, and a generally far better show, you get a mch better sense of loss is not an option.

Though this season has been QUITE an improvement (considering the continuity rape of earlier seasons). They mmore they stick with the existing mythos, the more people will watch. But is it too late?... maybe. The actor for Phlox has a pragmatic bleek view on the matter http://www.syfyportal.com/
But in a competition with a show with only 1 season on its belt? BSG WINS HANDS DOWN. So far its first season has more BEEF than all of enterprise. Its more engaging and provocative.
Comparison...
Archer - Feeds Porthos cheese.
Adama - BEATS to death a cylon agent with a flashlight!
edit: I take it back, Archer's description. I must respect Archer's remote detonating of the Reptilian's head. That was unexcpected and kool. But I still think Adama has a larger authoritive presence.

I must confess, I haven't seen Enterprise all season. We didn't even know it had started until 4 weeks into it. We were recording all episodes after that in an effort to have them so that maybe if they started the season over or played repeats we could watch the episodes we missed. Well, we had a satellite box issue and we lost all the episodes, so I'm basically abstaining from Season 4 of Enterprise until the DVD comes out.
I've seen some of Battlestar Galactica, and the rest of it is recorded and soon-to-be-watched. I must admit it's a LITTLE (sarcasm) more disturbing than Enterprise, but I like it a lot. It's a nice new genre (new from Star Trek at least) that is quite refreshing.
Oh this issue, I'm neutral. I haven't seen enough Battlestar Galactica to pass judgement.

It's quite disturbing, I don't even see the Cylons as Cylons anymore... to me they're human.
I can sympathize with Sharon, even though deep down she knew she was a Cylon, her conscious mind couldn't bear the thought of it.
Would you want to believe you were a member of a race that destroyed all of humanity?
Definitely BSG. It's the best scifi I've ever seen, and I think in terms of CGI, scriptwriting, and a storyline, it blows any Trek out of the water (even the 6th and 7th seasons of DS9 which I say is some of the best Trek ever made). BSG never fails to keep me anticipating the next episode, and the cliffhanger for the season finale is... unbearable.

I saw the final BSG end-of-season episode here last week (Uk). Really enjoyed it - 10/10. I can't remember the last time when a Star Trek episode had as much edge-of-seat drama in it. I also think BSG looks very realistic compared to Enterprise.
