...And one request... I've been seen in this mod and in others posted today (LC Amaral Mods), that some people is rating the mods whit 1 or 2 whiout even download them. I feel that this way of rate it's really unfair, cos it's a kind of disrisptec to any modder. If you are one of this guys, please, don't do that... cos we all of us we are giving a lot of work and time in this mods, and if you want to download it and try it, and after this you still hate it, it's ok, but if you say that the mod it's a "Crap" whiout even download it, you are really unfair.

Unfortunately its not likely many people will listen to you. People like to be ***holes. I agree with you people rating things without trying them is wrong.

I don’t think some people even read the descriptions or the readme all they do is look at the pictures. I made a crew mode and some people thought it was a bridge retexture.

All right...having downloaded and tested this mod here's my 50cents.

- Phasers too strong. Take too long to recharge. Increase number of phasers...4 is poor coverage.
- Torpedos ok (but you're overwriting the default torpedocore.tga...this could change the way other's people torpedos look). The place they're being fired from is a little strange too considering the NX we know. This is also true for the phasers.
- Hull should be weaker
- Shields too strong
- Warp core too powerful. You can increase everything to 125% and still be on the blue.
- Incorrect size (see pic)

I like the mesh and the textures. It looks just like a TOS NX could be. With a few tweaks on the hardpoint it'll be a winner.

THX for the comment Zambie... Are really usefull for a future version or a HP Update...!
But about the "disbalances" of the HP, take in mind that some was made at will from us, cos we want to give an idea of an Experimental Ship whit some "problems"... You know what i mean? Bit if nobody can notice this detail, could be better correct it maybe...

I just checked out your mod and it shows a lot of effort on your part. I would ask you to ignore the ratings and sometimes the comments. It comes with the territory. I've seen talented modders leave the BC scene because of some lame comment(s). For myself, I just follow the 'Download' numbers. From there you can measure the sucess of any mod.. Ratings and criticisms are like A**holes- everybody has one.

Just make what you want to see in BC. Even if you only get a 100 downloads- imagine a room filled with 100 people that was willing to give your mod a try. I hope to see more of your works in the Future.

I remeber when I was in school, like elementry...got picked last, never allowed to be group leader cuz everything thought the nerd wasn't cool...well...from my perspective, if it makes atleast one other person happy then it's mission accomplished. As for the ratings, those are the children. They hang out with the rest of the kids and guests at gamingforums. When they come here they either don't last very long because they end up banned or they learn what a real community is and grow up. So really, trying to make your point here about ratings wont reach it's target audience...

Yeah, You 2 are completly right. We are modding just for the pleasure of do it. Nothing more. Personally, I do it because i enjoy to possibilitie about to share my ideas whit other people and viceversa. And I'm taking that in a serious way, perhaps to much.
I don't mind at all if my mods dosn't like, but the "hate expresions" from some people really piss me off...
Anyway, what is really important to me it's just people like you 2, can apreciate the work and effort invested, even if we are not very experienced modders.

Yeah, you guys are completely right. Cant believe I missed this post...I welcome constructive criticism, but outright complaints without suggestions to improve is just pathetic...

Also your points Zombie are welcome. I think we could make a Hp Patch...When I was testing I didnt notice these details because i've only watched a few ENT episodes so im a bit unfamiliar with the ship capabilities etc...

To respond to the above statements, I also think it's wrong to "judge a book by it's cover". True, some mods are better than others, but I still think that the time and effort being put into them by the modders is worth more than it's weight in gold. If people rate them based solely on images alone, than they shouldn't be allowed to vote on them in the first place. It's people like that who are going to ruin it for the rest of us appreciative folk.
