I wonder If it is possible to enhance the models of the crew, because their graphics suck
Is there any mod that replaces the Crew with better looking models (Models, not just Textures)
Please answer! Thx

Well guys, i could teach someone to do it, but i donīt have time to even start with it.
Also, you know, this community has not been calling a lot of my attention as all i could see from it lately are a unbelievable and insane ammount of kitbashes and retextures of 2 different ships.

That's why no one can get an OK from me to kitbash my models Dunno, maybe I could learn it...tho I have a distinguished feeling that it'll mean making my Max3.1 load the STBCExporter

i have to agree with LC though... it seems pretty pointless putting in serious effort for bc any more

ditto with mark, it seems the game is finally dying just when there are some really colosal mods on the way

ita not dieing, just needs a colosal mod to bring it back.
i mean i only recently started playing it (again) and i'm learning to make models for it, would love one day make a bridge, ships dont seem too hard, texturing them will be a pain though.
my only gripe with some mods are, they have toooo much in them, im use kobaymushi 9.1 pimped and half the stuff in it i just never use, secondary targetting, blind firing, trebles, cant even seem to get torpedo transporting to work, crew capture, all the playing with power things...
tere os much to a new person it seems like trying to play alpha centauri without a tutorial and guidance on the tech tree

You aren't meant to use those features every battle, you use it part of a larger strategy

Scripting is my main obstacle. I've recently reinstalled, and it seems easier than ever to get BSODed if you're trying to use multiple mods or ships because of the wide variety of plug-ins used within a given period, much less over the years. I've been taking crash courses and learning, but as you might imagine, some things come easier than others. Still, it feels nice to get one's hands dirty...

Sure! However, I've not not been particularly immersed in the Bridge Commander community until now. It's very likely that relative to everyone else, I'm taking on scripting the difficult, old-fashioned way. I also tend to personalize my installs to suit my organizational tastes; all the named ships have to go here, under this name, blah, blah, blah...it borders on obsessive-compulsive, I tell you.

Why don't you take a look at the stickies at the Technical Support forum.
I'm sure one of them is interresting for you.
It even says that if you don't know how/can't solve it, that you may post about it.

I agree with LC, as my interest in bridge commander modding is not with me at the moment as much as it used to. I still have my stuff, but it doesn't call to me anymore

Wohoo, you`re going off-topic!
But, LC, if you would take the time to make new Models, BC would live longer! OUr greatest aim as BC-Community should be to let BC survive Legacy

locked due to there being no actual project on this thread, and also because there are 3 similar threads that can be used if needs be.
