Ok in the pic im going to show you, while doing the center part of the ship(tan color) I deleted a few verts, now my question is is do I have to put a face on the end before putting in a new object and then attach the verts or just make a new object, delete its face and attach the verts?
The center was originally sposed to be one whole piece, and I deleted the verts because it didnt look right so now I have to add another piece in there basically.
If you dont know what im doing..im making each piece of the ship and then after im going to UV map them all and then attach all the verts, so its easier to texture, so I still want the center part all one piece, not 2 pieces.

This is what I would do... Work on only one half of the ship. Build the piece that you want in that blank spot and then weld the appropriate vertices from that piece to the vertices that it would connect to on the ship. Then clone a mirror copy of what you've done and put the two halfs together. I don't know if Milkshape has a symetry feature, but that would eliminate the crease that would go down the middle of the ship. If it doesn't have that feture, then you'll have to weld the appropriate vertices on both halfs together. Hoped this helped. If anybody else has a better idea, go ahead and put it up.
