          | Ok so they're about to pull the plug on th life support machine that was keeping Enterprise alive, but what next?
What do you think would be a good idea for a 6th show?

Or do you think there should be a 6th show?

          | Well, I certainly want a 6th series, but it is a kind of early to say that there is or isn't going to be a new series. But, yeah, a new series would be great!

          | As long as B&B aren't allowed to b*stardise Gene Roddenberry's brain child once more then #I will gladly say yes.
If they are to be allowed to work on it, then I say i'm going to campaign for it to be cancled after the pilot.

          | I think that, assuming Enterprise dies and stays dead, they should wait at least five years, possibly longer, before making a new Trek series. Then it can come back and be fresh and interesting again.
If Enterprise does stay alive for another year, then they shouldn't make another Trek series until at least five years after it *does* end.

          | I think that the next series should be post-nemesis about the crew of the USS Titan. I think we should also (finally) see Captain Picard promoted to Admiral and i have a really good way to "ressurect " Data

And find a way to explain why data looks older.

Or its probably better to have a "Data Mk2" as a guest appearence.

          | meh i say new characters for another series....maybe with the exception of one or two older characters popping up here and there (Worf going to DS9 was great)....
only place to go now is after Voyager...since the show didn't get an end to all the loose threads we need to see that....

you know..the maquis were considered crimials...yet are serving on the ship....not to mention the number of borg they've picked up...something had to have come of that...and the future technology...

wouldn't mind seeing a series after Star Trek 6 though...

          | no what happens is data's positronic brain is found floating. while at the daystron institute, lore is reconstructed and learns that data's brain has been found and makes an emotional plea that data's brain be placed in his head, performing the ultimate sacrafice for his little brother.

as for picard, i fink the reason he refused promotion was because he liked being with his crew, now they've dispersed, i think he'll finally realise nothin can stay the same forever.

pish posh, the only proof we have that lore is dead is a BOOK, that is NON-CANNON. all the series sez is that lore is disassembled.

          | Data shot Lore, and his positronic brain was damaged beyond repair. I can see a story about them finding Data's head, and put it on Lore's android body MAYBE.
And Picard I would think would become an admiral sooner or later, I mean come on they made Janeway an admiral directly after she got home from the delta quadrant

I do agree though, that if there is a 6th series it should take place AFTER Voyager. No more prequels after ENT is done with.

Picard has been offered an admiral position in TNG, but he refused it.

And i think Janeway would be extremely tired of been a captain after what she had been through.

yeh but that refusal was 14 years ago (ST Timeline) and according to the book "Homecoming" Janeway wasn't given a choice and didn't want to step on anyone's toes. | DJcube wrote: | | | Darkthunder wrote: | | And Picard I would think would become an admiral sooner or later, I mean come on they made Janeway an admiral directly after she got home from the delta quadrant |
