Agreed on the 'a little long', but not by much - perhaps a bit longer on the nacelles? I do like it.

Sure, what size do you need it in?

Thanks Chris.....I think we are pretty close to the list of systems for you. We still have to finish storyboarding the last 10 chapters of the story. After that and an edit the list should be final.
How would you like to name it?

Don't even think, Eq, that he cannot do that, because I think he's a god in system creating. And therefore he may name this beauty.

I've always wanted a ship named after the place I grew up. It turns out that in the War of 1812, there was a great victory on Lake Champlain in upstate NY known as the battle of Plattsburgh - And what a victory it was- for this battle was the turning point in the War of 1812. Upon hearing of the defeat of the mighty British fleet in the bay, Lt. General Sir George Prevost abandoned his attempt to sever the new nation and fled into Canada. The fledgling United States Navy had defeated the world's strongest naval power on Lake Champlain.
Let's call this ship..
The USS Plattsburgh
as a symbol of hope for the future for the Federation. I think the concept fits in nicely with BC2.
See this page..

Note they spelled 'Plattsburgh' wrong in the site URL. It has an h.

Shall I call it the Plattsburgh class, and name the second ship the USS Champlain, or make it as you suggested. That would leave the slot open for the class, which would be fine. Your call.

Here you go, the forum will probably downsize them. Regular and wireframe posted. Remember, no smoothing has been applied yet.

Cool, finally someone made an Intrepid who's saucer and sec hull joint is curved to the outside, and not to the inside

I can wait for this beauty, I'd rather see a quality model than something that has been rushed!!
