actaully there has been a lot of progress, im now using ignis' nx bridge with the higher rez and now i have photoshop so ill go back to work with this, and yes ill do a TATV bridge.
i was just waiting for enterprise to finish (damn, sh*t, a**, f**k, t**t) before reworking so ill not need to add anymore. ill post updates in the next few days.
(regarding the TATV bridge, i knew 1 day that the monitors would be replaced with those silly blinking things.)

Your right, I hadn't thought of that when I saw the episode. The screens are blinking a lot. Probably so that they can try and tie this into how TOS was

well if mickjo is still around, there no reason u cant use bridge plugin to add the xtra bits to the set seen on the other bridges..
@hellsgate: dont bump 6 month old threads unless youve got something important to say

yep still working on this, ended up loosing the retextures twice and rebuilding twice but it aint dead. i've got all the ST:Enterprise DVD's now so i'll make everything as precise as possible.
i'll start up again and when i get broadband i may release it. but ill keep the thread alive. mark's high rez nx bridge is easier to use than the original so ill have something for u soon, i'll start right now infact... thats if i have marks permission to adjust and add new textures to NX bridge...
And as for bridge plugin, i dont have a clue, maybe in the future.

maybe, their are loads of things missing of the current nx bridge as it was made before season 2-4. around 5 monitors are missing.
as for xtra features, i think thats mark's area of expertice. To make this rexture as accurate as possible there may come a time when the bridge will need minor remapping and modeling...

hmm im not really up for that, adding the funky flashing columns is all well and good but when it comes to full on redos of bridges theres far more popular ones out there to get done.
yes you have permision to use my textures as long as credits are given to myself and the guy from EF2 who i got some of the textures off

An update for you all, this retex will be based on Season 3, I'll do others at a later date.
* The Bridge has been completly re-lit and most of the lightmaps have been desaturated and brightened to remove the grubby effect of the original textures.
* I've retextured the consoles as best i could and aligned where they meet. i'll add certain panels and interfaces once they all match.
* Basic LCARS designs have begun (see pic 3), so far they show no information, (gives me an incentive to finish the difficult stuff and work on things i want to do).
* The Tactical & Science console has been retextured (needs aligning), lm's have also been fixed, i have to say the mapping on this is a pain in the @$$.
First ingame tests will be held tonight...

lol i was only kidding, however it is true that by resizing the bridge you would be invalidating the animations.
considering theres currently 2 new bridges that only need animation before they can be released.. well you get the drift

If someone is going to make the NX-01 Terran Empire Variation, you might put the X.O. somewhere behind the captains chair, as seen in "In a mirror, darkly" because Archer was only the X.O; until he promoted himself to C.O. of course. Strange that there was no seat or station for him.

Bloomin' hell, did i never finish this?, I loved workin on it as well. The problem i encountered was the sheer arkwardness of the mapping on this bridge. To make this as good as it can be the model needs to be modified and remapped in places.
I know that 3E plan to upgrade the model, its the last on the production list. Id be more than willing to change aspects of the model for 3E if i had the model in max 7 format...

might do the nx02, tbh i want to leave something for you guys to do... I havent stopped this month.
having said that the redo of this will involve alot of changes, i plan to completly redo the majority of the mapping, aswell as correcting the viewscreen size and makeing every display fully animated..
