I was just wondering, is there a simple way to export an animation from 3DS max 7 as an animated .gif.
If not, is there a program that will combine numbered .bmp's into one .gif?
Would save me a lot of time.

Some graphics programs do have the ability to make short animations. Not sure about Adobe Photoshop but I know the JASC programs come with an animation-shop built in. The problem is that gifs animate in a more cartoony way than most "video" files, so a straight convertion may be a problem. If in doubt, check something like download.com for an avi-gif converter, preferably without spyware attached.
