The explosions that are created when weapons fire hits another ship seems to be dropped my framerate to an unplayable level. Phasers seem to cause the biggest problem. I seems to be related to the rendering of the texture but i have no idea. After the explosion ends, the framerate increases again, but during the period where my ship is doing actual damage to another, the framerate just drops trememdously. Any ideas?
