not being an 'old guard modeller' myself I know this problem too darn well, I almost got no more time to model anything... |

Just be patient. The most of good mods takes ages to be released some time...

Hey thanks!
I'm glad you like it.
Although I was heart broken that no one ever stepped up and did a Bridge Commander Version of it..
I always wanted to play it in Bridge commander!

Dont see why you haven't tried building a "low poly" mesh of the Auducious for BC. If you can handle building high poly CGI quality meshes, I would think it would be easier to build meshes with less polygons. I could be wrong, seeing as i'm not much of a modeller myself

If the shoe was on the other foot, I'd DEFINATELY be asking the same question..
Ok. I'll sum it up in two words.. "Self taught".
[EXPLANATION]
Being self taught, I'm only able to cut corners and boolean the model to death, leading me to box model the entire ship!
When I didn't have to worry about polys, I could go buck wild and do what ever I had to do to achieve the shape I wanted..
"By any means Necessary "
But everytime I tried to make a low poly version (And I tried ALOT).
I'd end up using up all the poly's before I could finish the saucer section!
Look at it like this..
Lets pretend Polys are Popsicle sticks..
You wanna make one of those cute lil bird houses out of popsickle sticks.
But you only have ten sticks..
Now would it be easier to build with 80 sticks or ten?
For some artist, having more material to build with is easier..
But some like the people on this forums could make this Proverbial bird house with far less then ten sticks!
Unfortunatly.. I'm a 80 sticks kinda guy..

Hi everyone!
Long time no post.
I was just messin around on my Audi forums and actually got in a dorky mood..
Dorky enough to make a Star Trek Rap about the USS Audacious!
Then one of the people on the forums actually turned it into a video..
I just thought I'd share..
Warning.. its pretty silly so don't get your hopes up.. **LOL**
