Ok, my last BC install became so heavily modded it was unstable and my AI finally stopped working. Being the newbie that I am, I wiped it clean and decided to start over. I cannot for the life of me figure out how I got as far as I did. Here's my problem:

I've installed BC, patched it to 1.1, and I'm trying to install the following:
nanofx2b
gui
umm
qbautostart

There's a lot more, but these are the basics. I've been through four installs so far, I never get a nanofx2 control panel. I've installed the ultra version and still nothing. The closest I get is installing MPMP which gets me nanofx1, but that's it. I've tried the nanofx2 sp fix, but it gives me a bsod.

Any ideas?

QBR 2.3 has also been thrown in there a time or two.

Also, I could never get to the point where I could turn the Master Switch on or off...it never appeared. Am I missing something from my basic mods?

I'm just trying to get the groundwork laid so I can start adding all the bells and whistles such as advanced core options, tech framework, and the ships!

Okay, after installing several other mods, including the 1.1 patch, Foundation, QBA, QBR, MVAM, Tech Framework, NanoFX2b, nanofx configuration panel ultra (which still showed no nanofx menu in game), mmu with nanofx panel (still no nanofx option, but at least now I have the master switch), I'm still without a nanofx menu and installing the nanofx panel from umm, all buttons cease to work. I can click them and get a sound, but they don't activate any functions. What am I doing wrong? I've attached the console report.

Cause of NanoFX problem: user stupidity

Solution to NanoFX problem: about 12 hours of forum browsing, installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, stalling, and 3 beers unveiled that when I reinstalled BCMI, I neglected to change the path of the install. Problem solved.

New problem: I should actually call this the "old problem" as it has surfaced and was the main reason I went down this road to begin with. The enemies have no AI. They don't attack at all. I've got QBA enabled and I've not touched the hardpoints yet other than what got installed with MVAM and TechFramework.

1st problem. You probably have Targetgroup override installed get rid of it.

2nd problem. As for the previous error you tried installing both nanofx ultra config panel and UMM those 2 are a no no.

3rd problem. Refer the 1st problem solution
