Ok guys, I need you to post any bugs that you are aware of in the forum. Please post any you find, no matter how small.
Please make the bug post in orange as shown
Problems with log in from main page
Next, post anything you think needs to be improved or modified in yellow
Would like to see the chat box improved
Finally, post any mods are additions you would like to see in cyan
I would like to see a user CP
Moderators, please modify any posts to match this setup if necessary. I need it to be this way so I can compile a list and post it here.

Try checking the file attributes from the ftp. That looks like the problem, and the theory matches with
- The moving of the server, 1 directory could be "read-only"
- The "line 0" error, so basically, the error is before the code in the file, most likely in the attributes.
Just posting it here, will get more attention than the post in the spam.
Hope that is helpful.

That field isn't meant to have partial matches, that's what the "Find a username" is for.
Off topic, but I have to ask, I thought the "a" rule was that when an a goes before any vowel (a, e, o, etc) it became an, so why not user? Since unhappy does get an an before it (an unhappy couple).

I have found another problem in some older posts with a pic, the pics are repeated three times.

yeah, it's acting like the "post spam here" thread, in which you have to go to the first page to reply

search function seems back on track now...
it would be nice, if on the index page where it shows the last post in that forum (time date and who posted) we could click on that and it would take you to that specific post... it used to be like that anyway, now it just shows the time date and person who posted...
also, the "hot topics" i think should include more than just the modding forum... it should also include all the BC-related forums (scripting, bridge, downloads, tech support, etc etc)
why do all new patrons automatically show they are 36 (as in default) until they make an actual bdate in their profiles? wasnt like that before either...
spellcheck doenst seem to work...
when viewing threads in forums, staff username-colors dont show up, when it shows we were the last poster in that thread...
all of the old attachments show up in triplicate now (tho this was brought up in the staff forum, nothing from there was said of it as to whether or not this could be fixed...)
just a few things off the top of my head...

All of these require something more than just admin priveledges, actual server access more like it.

Ah, the famous computer date... 1970... First time in history that a file got a date stored with it.
I think a hack wasn't installed properly.

Same as the first.
But, do you mean the other way around? That the thread poster is coloured and the last post not? It's been like that from the start.

Gamespy promised to fix this.

There's no option in the Profile section that enables viewing of other people's signatures. There used to be a broken option, but now there's nothing. The only way I can see signatures is to log out.

i mean spellcheck, when you go to post and hit "spellcheck", it doesnt yield anything...
the other point i was on about; when you go into a forum and view the threads, it shows staff-username-colors (yellow moderator, green admin, etc) in the "author" column, but not in the "last post" column (if one of us happened to make the last post in a thread)...
this might be a nit-pick, but why not see if it can't be done? (unless that is deliberate?)

Contact an admin (or someone else with direct Database access).
Though I'm not sure they have direct access.

The 'BCU Sci-fi Pic Caption of the Day' thread can only be viewed through the Topic Review frame in the Reply page (it's the same problem as in the 'post spam here' thread). This one really does need to be fixed, since almost all images posted in that thread can't be viewed in the Topic Review frame.

Old is cool: blast from the past Dos and other games!
This thread is also playing silly buggers with me in the same was as Funny Shte and Caption of the Day.
It must also be noted that PSH still does not load it's last page, but all other threads which do not open properly display the message "No posts exist for this topic"

Of course it would also work for exact usernames.
And if you were to type in starforce* you would get starforce2
*starforce means, "search for any name that ends with starforce".
If you were to type in st*rce2 you would get starforce2.
Also, about Mayhem, this is the that I get back when I type in: "*Mayhem*" I get: "mayhemuk".

hmmm... since the search function itself is ok now (not the "username search" per se), maybe this thread's title should be changed?

This may just be me having this problem but the search function is down. All I get is a "Debug Mode" page. If this is just a problem for me could it be that I just cleaned out my browser cookies (although I thought I left the BCU cookie alone, and did not have to re-login after returning to the site). Or could it be that I have blocked the advertisement banners at the top of the page?
Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure what I did but for some reason the search function is working again (not that I'm complaining, I just would like to know what caused it not to work so I can avoid whatever the problem may be, or know what happened to fix it for that matter). Oh well.
