What should it be? |
Do a CG model of my room at uni. Could involve a lot of texturing DVD cases. |

Do a transformer. Properly this time. Possibly animate it. |

A Les Paul guitar, also done better with decent textures and lighting. Then a top hat for the hell of it. |

Some form of space ship again. Something a little different of course. |

- A room would be an interesting thing to do. Lots of different models.
Finish texturing the fighter and make more weapons for it.
- I would love to see it finished
Do a transformer. Properly this time. Possibly animate it.
- Do you mean those things from that dumb kids show, or something actually cool?
A Les Paul guitar, also done better with decent textures and lighting. Then a top hat for the hell of it.
- Not much of a guitar fan...so im not too bothered about this one
Some form of space ship again. Something a little different of course.
- Depends on how interesting the design it.
Really, just do what you want to do.

I can't decide, that's the thing. I'm tempted by something a bit more arty than just a model. I'm also tempted by finishing the fighter and doing several other things so I can make a poster of some kind and get it printed off on A0.

I'd go for the room.
or perhaps, as I plan do some 2d work...either photoshopping (from scratch) or just old-fashioned painting...

Well, my birthday present could be a graphics tablet, which means I could be doing some digital painting in the future.
The room is an interesting one. It requires a lot of micro modelling and a massive variety of meshes. Just to do the small area of desk where the hi-fi is is a project in itself. The rack of DVD's will be a texturing nightmare and the binaltech grimloack that's using my radio arial as a flag pole is a project in itself.
