Hello. I have been in and out of this community more times then I can count.
But this time I'm gonna contribute something if it kills me. I've gone through
a few names cause I keep forgetting my password. First I was MeshThe2nd,
then I was Evtium, then Quantus. Some of you might know me, you might
not remember me though, I can understand. I come and go like an annoying
salesman. Anyways, if someone can do it, can I request my name to be
changed to simply Mesh? If not thats fine. I'd just like to be recognized as
being Mesh.

Anywho, I have here a large set of models that I converted and scaled
from Darksabers Ultimate Craft Pack mod from Xwing Alliance. I am
currently awaiting permission to use a number of ships from his mod. The
ships will include the following:

Alliance Escort, Assault Frigate, Bulk Cruiser, Bulk Freighter, Carrack
Cruiser, Corellian Corvette, Corellian Gunship, Dreadnaught, Escort
Carrier, Interdictor, Lancer Frigate, Marauder Corvette (possibly two
versions of it), Mobquet Transport, Modified Corvette, Modified Nebulon B,
Nebulon B Frigate, Modular Conveyor, Star Galleon, Strike Cruiser,
Suprosa Transport and finally Xiytiar Transport.

I am intentionally excluding Mon Calamari Ships and Star Destroyer IMP 1
and 2. The reason is because Thunderchild has already provided great
models to use.

All the models are currently converted and scaled. I have everyone
working ingame currently with little difficulty. I have little experience
however in adding glows and hardpointing to star wars cannon. So if
someone wants to team up with me, that would help emmensly and
it would save my sanity.

Everything is currently waiting on the request I sent to DarkSaber just
tonight. So I'm not gonna do anything else until I have his blessing. If not
depending on what he lets me use, the mod will be released as per his
wishes.

Sorry for the long no reply here. I'm waiting for
permission from Darksaber to use the models. Does
anyone have contact with him or know if he will allow
usage of his models? Would it be okay to use these
models if I give proper credit to the original authors?

I know I might be just a bit over cautious here, but I'd
rather be over cautious then careless.

Okay, I'm the same guy as Quantus.

I admittingly haven't touched this mod since about a month ago. Awaiting
a response from Darksaber (I don't think I'll get one), and also I kinda
forgot about this mod. But I remembered and started to work on it. I forgot
that for some reason I installed KM over my XWA ships, and then afterwards
I found out that my HP's were gone for my ships. Did I delete them for
some reason? Maybe, I have no clue, they're gone and I recreated one for
the bulk freighter.

I looked through everything. Checked everything more times then I can
even remember. I didn't typo anything that I can think of. I attached a file
here that includes the bulk freighter as a whole with model, textures, and
scripts. It has no weapons or engines (I found out a long time ago that it only
needs a hull and ship property just to run ingame). Whenever I try to target
it ingame, it just crashes into my desktop. Even on a clean install.

Can someone more experienced please help me and look over these
scripts and tell me what I'm doing wrong? If someone can help me, thanks
in advance.

try looking at a roid's HP, there you'll find the minimum, i believe you need a reactor and possibly an engine

Actually, I did try your idea a few days ago before you
suggested it Imp, but I don't think its a problem with the
HP anymore. Cause I can target the ship now without it
crashing. But the new problem is whenever I decide to
choose to have the bulk freighter as my player ship, it
just crashes to desktop before I get ingame.

For the record, all my ships worked ingame before, I
have no idea why they aren't working now. I have a
clean install with the 1.1 Patch, along with foundation
from BCMP. I don't see what could be interfering with
my ships.

update:

I finally got it to work as a player ship now. I just used
the hardpoint from the stock transport ship.

The problem I'm having are with glows. I can't seem to
get them to work. I followed Kool's short tutorial on it
using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. It isn't working. Can
someone give a more detailed explanation of glows for
this desperate noob please? Thanks in advance.

you might want to ask at BCC as well... the modders there might be able to help you out...

Alright, huge update:

I finally was able to get all my ships back ingame, so they all work now. I'm
in the process of hardpointing all 20 of them. I got 2 down, but I should be
done with them by the middle of next week if I'm paying attention.

I was wondering how to exactly change the color for the distruptors
differently, cause in the hp the RGBA looks like this:

Also, I still haven't been able to figure out glows, I can't for the life of me
figure it out. I don't want to release these ships without glows or specs,
cause they don't look very good without them. I guess I could, but I
dunno, if soemone can help me with glows, I'd be really happy.

I haven't been here in awhile, sorry about that. There were other stuff I had
to do and didn't have time.

Alright guys, I got the ship pack working ingame and everything. I'm ready
to release the mod itself. Its up to you guys to hardpoint them as I am not
very good at hardpointing myself, so if you feel like you want to, go ahead,
just leave credit to me. As for the no glows, I never was able to figure them
out. I tried absolutely everything and just nothing. Maybe its the type of
textures used. I have no idea, if you think of something, I applaud your
modding skills lol.

In any case, I hope to release it on BCFiles soon. Sending it through hotmail
doesn't seem to work as it says I'm sending a virus when I'm not. So if an
admin who can upload files wants to get in contact with me, my MSN is the
same as my email in my profile.

Yeah I haven't been around for awhile. But I'm deciding to release these
without hardpoints. Maybe someone else would be able to do hardpoint these
ships and get them looking good ingame.

I already sent bcfiles a email through hotmail, it seems it went through so
all I have to do is wait. I forgot to include the sounds for the weapons. I have
them here if anyone needs them.
