Ok, I am about to get approved to make payments again, so I need invoices from everyone that needs to be paid. LC Amaral, Chris Jones, Executioner_DE, etc. Please do not send a bill for meshes that are unfinished, unless they are close to completion. You can send a bill for a mesh that does not have textures yet.
Thanks. Send the Invoice through the PM system. I need them by the end of next week so I can submit them for payment.
The usual amounts paid are as follows, but can be adjusted if you so desire.
10.00 for a completed system or mission
30.00 for a completed mesh
15.00 for a completed texture set
10.00 to 50.00 for game components/concepts
25.00 to 75.00 for game sequences/renders
Any payment can be revised upward or downward to satisfy the modeler if needed.
Payments for CGI models will have to be discussed individually, but usually range between 100 to 500 dollars each. The amount is determined by the quality and accuracy of the mesh, the amount of time and effort involved, and the intended use of the mesh. You are welcome to submit an invoice on your CGI mesh with your desired compensation, and we will go from there.

Please respond.
Given that Nano, Sneaker, and nearly every other BC scripter's work utilizes and builds upon the Foundation, and that Foundation Overrides and TriggerDefs are the key to NanoFX's function, I think this is important.
I just want a level playing field, here. A close allegory would be paying someone for a model they kitbashed by permission of the original author, but leaving the original author out. This needs to be addressed.

Give him time. I'm sure he'll want to buy foundation at some point if it's essential to the likes of NanoFX.

I honestly don't think anything should be being sold, at least not for what's being offered.. I've done some of the math on this thing, and if somehow a game were sold... well let's just say ONE person would make ALOT of money, while alot of hard working modders would be being gyped.. big time...

There is a contract when money is paid out Dolphoenix. They are protected from losses if their products ever go commercial. You should check with those that have been paid first to see if they are unsatified with the arrangement before you start doomsaying.
Here are the general terms of the licence agreement.
You retain an open artistic license to the compensated product. You will be allowed to post proprietary versions of the product without prior approval from Nightsoft, but any compensated product or materials become the sole property of Nightsoft. Any future mods based on your release become the intellectual property of Nightsoft, regardless of the author, including yourself, and we have the right to secure and distribute any products based on our original designs or contracted needs in which compensation was provided. Nightsoft will not be required to provide compensation to anyone that modifies a mod based on our compensated design, and we reserve all rights in the matter. Any expansions or modifications of a product owned by Nightsoft so altered and released by the original author, and subject to ownership under the rules stated above will require due compensation to said author.
Nightsoft will not release any product compensated under this license commercially without providing proper compensation to the author. The standard compensation level is 10 percent of the profit or proceeds, and is negotiable. If compensation is provided under this condition, any and all rights to the product are forfeited to Nightsoft, and the product becomes sole property of same. Compensation will be provided for the profit life of the product, unless superseded by a signed agreement between both parties, in which case that agreement takes precedence.

I should like to license the Foundation to you on terms conducive to your effort. I'll go for a rate equal to that of Nanobyte's NanoFX. I can't contemplate transferring IP rights or showing any exclusiveness, but I trust that technicality is no hindrance.

I can't estimate it well to be honest. I'd like the Infinity to be in the upper region of the estimates you've mentioned but the rest I can't estimate. I'm not totally happy with my Matador or Neb and I never got round to correcting the Armstrong properly.

Ok, weve gotten loose responses, I am guessing it is because you guys dont want to screw yourselves, but at the same time you dont want to ask for too much.
Heres what I will do.
As you can imagine, funds are tight right now. However, you guys need to be paid. I will offer 75.00 to any of the BC2 workers that have done work, call it a payment toward work rendered.
Please, send me a PM saying you want the advance. If I have work of yours in hand, or it is for something that you are ready to contribute, say so and I will send the payment that day.
You snooze, you lose.

Can you explain what these renders are? I can do those.
I also can do cgi, but I wont even start one unless you can give me GOOD refernece to work from, OR the freedom to interpet the model.
ITs imposible to make a good cgi model from a low poly textured model, it just wont turn out good unless you can add details and change things that were done BECAUSE its low poly
But if you can do that, I -will- do the cgi/renders for you and im sure you are more then aware of what I can do:)
As for textures
http://www.matrixgames.com/default.asp?URL=http%3A//www.matrixgames.com/forums/tt.asp%3Fforumid%3D115
Thats my latest texture work.
Contact me on msn damoclesx@hotmail.com
or damoclesx@shaw.ca for email
Remeber to do so, or I cant help you with bc2
I actaully could use the money this time raven, so i'm more then willing to work for it, yolu trying getting 2 diplomas back to back with only a few months work, then having 15000 worth of computer equip go poof
