Yes. The Defiant bridge is a warship bridge, so it was a good jumpoff. Plus it is one of my favorites, so setting it up as the player's home bridge works for me.
However, lots of changes have been made.

Whoa-hoa-hoa!! Sweet!
It's obviously based on the Defiant Class bridge, but there are some distinct differences in the mesh. The most obvious one is the helm control (which looks awesome, by the way)!
Nice job, Viper (assuming you made it, of course)!!

Raven, could you tell us which ship's departments are seated where? And I personally think that the captain's chair plateau is far too high, though I understand that the captain must emit a certain bossy-feeling. Viper did most of it, but I think that LC had helped him as well.

I'm working on trying to get the new bridge guys to add it to the list.

At any rate, perhaps I am an untrained eye, but I have seen many a bridge, and I think this is one of the finest I have seen.

I've seen some kick ass ones, but for a non-canon design with a lot of originality, this is as good as it gets.

Yes, I've seen his work, and if I was paying 5000 bucks for this bridge I'm sure you would do the same. You guys have to remember this is work on a budget...makes the bridge quite spectacular considering how reasonable the cost is.

Ah yes. Sean "That panel is three millimetres off the canon spec" Robertson. I do have some respect for that guy.

update- Changed the Center ceiling light to a dome, and added some light ridging to the rings around it.

...Removing that top light also places the lighting at the right level...it was too high before. Can you add 4 spars to each window for strength? they can just be textures if that makes it easier.
I would also like similar detail on the red ring and spars that draws across the ceiling. Just some lines to make them look metalic, either horizontal (making them look like beams) or vertical (making them look like segments)

LOL. Actually Raven, removing the "light" did absolutely nothing to the lighting level. It creates the illusion it dropped because the glow was removed in that area. I can add the reinforcing spars. In fact, it needs it. Otherwise the enter rings are floating.
As for the detail, I can try and whip something up. If not lines, mabe remove some of the smoothing, possibly remove the current beams and add something like an I-beam with some riviting? Your call.

I like the idea of beams and rivets...yes, it is very 20th century, but it also says "built viper tough". Let's see how it looks.
I would also like to see some reflections in the panels, but keep in mind, this ship is designed for combat, and glare is not a good thing. Perhaps a light reflection to show it is a smooth glassy panel, but not too much...the reflection would be reduced on purpose. No shiny happy people here.
This ship is built for one purpose...the destruction of the enemy.
By the way, I was thinking of adding dark piping on the left and right edge of the chair backs....that way it matches the captain's chair. Let me know what you think of this idea. Again, it could just be a texture.

Well, I'm sure Viper doesn't mind leaving his rig alone for 18 hours while it renders

actually, right now there is a reflection on several items, including LCARS. I can just up it. And my rig only takes exactly 67.3 seconds to render right now.
