Ok, decided to post some pics of work I did on a Romulan fighter before my stroke...I might pick it back up.
This ship is small of course, and I have a Cardassian and a Klingon fighter in the works as well...not sure about the Fed one yet, not to good at feds as you well know.
Here are pics of the current state of the mesh...

Wow. That looks really good!
That ventral view gave me an idea: If the model is modified a little so the impulse engines become warp engines (assuming those slits on the aft end of the wings are the impulse engine exhausts), scale up the ship, and make that square thing in the middle of the dorsal "tail" into an impulse engine, this could be a Romulan MVAM ship--the smaller wings and fuselage on the ventral side could be a separable ship! That part has a (TOS) Romulan shape to it already, so no major remodeling would have to be done! Some detail could just be added. What do you think?
Either way, this looks very nice (as usual!). It's good to have you back, Raven Night.

I like it. Shows design style familiarity with the Valdore and the Talon Scoutship. Very good.

I agree with Starforce, I think the ship in the prior concept should be larger, perhaps a small corvette. Of course, it would need a smaller cockpit. I might do it up like a runabout-type class ship.
This one is the smallest in the Romulan inventory, but is still rather large for it's class...it should be the largest fighter of all the races, therefore it is not as menuverable, but has the highest firepower and shields.
