Well, you don't necessarily have to stick with strick guidelines.
1 or 2 decks? Why not do a split level. 1 deck at the fron that goes all the way, and a small mini deck which exists only at the back half of the corvette. Though you'd have to drop your pod/hole idea to do it.

I like the idea off having 2 decks in some parts off the ships. you can have something like as shown, with 2 decks in the areas on both sides off the container or abit infront of/behind it

You read my mind. Good idea droping the lower deck slightly to make it a split level. That solves the problem of teh top deck being under 1.5m. Then you can use the space under the forward deck section for the stuff ships need to have, like weapons or deflector equipment.
Raven, I'm really fancying a change so could I try this in CG. I've got a few ideas and techniques I want to put to work. I could model at least a mock up interior too and different pod sections to go with it. As a small troop carrier this will probably be needed, and would go well in an animation with Matador and Nebuchadnezzars on a ground attack.

Great idea, I'd like to see what you can do with it.

Looks nice. One of the mission modules could be a federation walker, the ship could drop the module from orbit and the walker/walkers would climb out when it lands.Or for a cutscene in the game the corvette has to lure a cloaked ship out of hiding so it simulates battle damage, leaks plasma from the engines and takes its weapons offline. The enemy ship spots this easy target and decloaks and approaches,as the enemy approaches the mission module opens and a fleet of drones fly out and destroy the enemy ship.

No, I could see it as a late TNG-era replacement for the Sydney-Class and/or the Raven-Class with an Argo-type land-rover or two for pre-warp cultural surveillance, equipment / personnel-rotation assignments in-between Regula-Class science stations, Federation colonies, the Academy, & other situations in no way requiring a better-armed, higher-volume capitol vessel. A large "Delta Flyer", more or less.
