Since I was the last man to endure, what needed to be endured,
I was also the last to be corrupted.

a beast of a man with,
dark hollow eyes,
quite tall, possibly twice as tall as I,
stood before me…. radiating great power…. dark sinful power.
Mmm, I had tasted this before.
I felt the evil in his heart,
along with his destructive nature,
that flowed from his ever being,
Which was awkward for me.
the more I absorbed his nature,
the more I began thinking like him,
the more I wanted to be like him.
The more I was like him.

My mind wondering my mind
Dozing…..slowly…...

Until he yelled at me in a low….., firm…., hideous.. voice.
STOP…, he demanded,
as I was pushed back by his voice.
My mind went clear as day,
with a few loose ended thoughts trailing behind.

As he stepped forward…,
a step or two.
the ground began to rumble, shake and split.
and with each step he took closer.
flames emerged, smelling of sulfur spite and burnt brimstone.

flames grew dark from his eyes.
Covering his entirety.
The heat surrounded me.
I could not move, engulfing me. Violating Me.

Not a moment later
we were toe to toe, nose to belly button.
and I was obligated to stare at the tone of his skin in awe of its color,
it was black like his heart… with a red tint tint.

That was all I had time to think about
For the flames grew even hotter,
picking at my flesh,
singeing the hair from my body,
and frying the flesh on my bone as well.

Pain dug into every piece of my mind,
burning me from the inside out.
Aaaah….. I screamed.
the Agony.
Take Mercy on me, shaking my arms at him.

The flesh melted from my bones,
leaving only a skeletal figure and his mind.
I fell to my knees, cursing him,
with all I had left.

Then our eyes truly met for the first time,
and Unconscious I went……..

I saw angels flying thru the air.
Frolicking without fear.
Playing with one another,
without so much as a bother.

Then the clouds grayed dark,
and the thunder growled viciously.

and the day dimmed no possible light.
Only instilling fright of all the great might.

Then the angels started falling from the sky in mid-flight,
dropping like flies, one by one.
Soon… hundreds,
thousand's…….
Millions……….
tumbled from the clouds,
from heaven itself.

Each time an angel would try to fly back up into heaven,
It would fail at every attempt.
Then I noticed why all the angels were falling
their wings were snapped like a twig, and they just dangled, lifeless.

BOOM Snap Boom
The angels fell to the ground.
hitting it like hail in a hell storm.
each time an angel landed,
crashing into the blound, the blooded ground,
he was melted of his skin,
leaving only muscle and bone.

Angels landed every where
as far as my eyes could see.

Pure.. bright.. blood.. ran from there every crevasse.
Creating this endless pool of coagulated black blood,
that soon drowned the angels in there own, and of there last breath.
and in the blink of an eye,
that’s all it really was.
they were gone.
POOF….
Into this sea of pity…
and flushed… down into the bowls of hell they went.
Screaming effortlessly….

Creating only memories of these sinners,
These mass betrayers of a once fertile harmony.

It became dark once again

Then I was staring back into his eyes,
I not only saw….
but felt….
the sorrow in his crippled mind.
PLEASE…. he begged, as flame turned to smoke.
distinguishing all hope.

He turned around,
walked away,
and with every step,
grew his broken wings.
