Streets of Rage Online
[ Enemies ]
The enemies in Streets of Rage use the usual method of recycling sprites by changing colour palettes. The punks unfortunately don't have names, so I've used their SOR2 ones.

Standard punk, dangerous only in groups. Looks and acts similar to Galsia in Streets of Rage 2 & 3.
Another regular punk, this time with a sliding attack. This guy is very similar to the Signal punks from Streets of Rage 2 & 3.
Encountered fairly regularly, she can knock you down with her whip. Once you knock her down she won't get up until you move away - it seems the heroes are too honourable to hit a woman on the floor, even if she is one of Mr X's army. This gal is the forerunner of the Electra enemies from Streets of Rage 2 & 3
One of Mr X.'s more able minions. This ninja can jump at you and has a real annoying kicking attack.
This clown(?) guy often juggles either firesticks or axes which he can throw. Watch out for him walking into you as it will knock you down.
The Round 1 Boss. Special moves include a knock-down kick and a boomerang throw. Not too difficult.
This guy has knives strapped to his hands like Freddy Kreuger and he isn't afraid to use them. He has an unavoidable slashing attack that makes it very difficult for you to do any damage. He is the Round 2 Boss and appears twice afterwards. It has been speculated that this guy is the forerunner of Streets of Rage 2's Zamza, but apart from the knife hands the two are very different.
The Round 3 Boss is a pro-wrestler, reminiscent of the Ultimate Warrior from the WWF. Watch out for his charging punch.
The Round 4 Boss is this fire-breathing fat man. This guy can be a real bastard if you let him get away from you, as he will be able to use his fire attack. My personal tactic is to grab him, knee him twice, let him go by pressing away and repeating until he is dead - a tactic that works with some of the other bosses.
A very cheap reuse of the Blaze sprites, these twins are very hard to take down and are the Round 5 Boss. Back attacks can be useful, as can grabbing them as they come down after a jump.
Mr X, the final boss, is armed with a machine gun, with which he alternately hits you with and fires at you. Quite difficult if you get swamped by lots of punks when you are trying to hit him.
