It's true, in Secret of Mana there are Level 9 Spells. It's strange that Squaresoft went to the trouble of making the animations for these spells considering hardly anyone even sees them. What you need to do is build up your magic spells to 8.99. If you go to an area with lots of enemies and keep repeating a spell, eventually you'll see a special version of that spell. 				If you cast Shade's Evil Gate with the Sprite at Level 8:99 over and over again you will eventually see a special Level 9 spell which summons a stampede of Shadow Zero sprites, they run across the screen and damage the enemy. For more infomation on Shadow Zero click here.
