HitmanHQ Mailbag
by: Tech21 | February 11, 2002

The last HitmanHQ mailbag was a break from tradition of sorts. Rather than bore the readers with simple fan letters, I decided it would be a better idea to bore readers with a humorous satirical narrative based around a few of those fan letters. Unfortunately, some folks failed to find the humor.

Probing Questions

First of all, great site, I just wanted to ask the people of Remedy, what hitman has stolen from Max Payne? And why shouldn't hitman have great code? These physical effects have crushed gamecoding! I don't see why Eidos should have stolen from Remedy. BTW isn't IOI working on the game, has Eidos anything to do with the creation?

Conspiracy Theory
Seriously, is that article of yours supposed to be serious? You are so utterly paranoid it scares me. And WHERE do you get the impression that jobs has been lost at all? Your headlines are worse than those of UFO magazines. Nobody in Remedy is named Anna Olinski, and I have heard that name before, I am pretty sure it's a crazed fan. We've had two incidents of them before. A guy nagged me because I didn't have mirrors, as if it's required for a fansite to have mirrors of every damn thing. You should be more mature than to believe this shit, check your sources. You can trace the email better and see which mailserver it comes from. Just press the button more details, if it comes from Remedy's server I'll give you a huge amount of money, because it don't... probably not a finnish server at all... well, you get my point, check your sources before publishing stuff like that please... good site you have there btw... rock on, with SERIOUS stuff...

Hi

i read this recently on your latest mailbag:

Startling Discovery
Well,im a big hitman fan,and after ive looked at the hitman logo i wondered what it meant,so i took the picture and began putting both pieces together, erasing the tail, ive been trying to figure out what it means for a month, but i finnaly realised(after LOOOONNNG reshearch) that its and H,as hard as i looked, its nothing but a H,and i thought it meant something, but its an H,dammit,H for hitman Arseniy Krouglynskiy

Welll, i'd like to point out that apart from being an H, the logo is also a flame and slightly ressembles a human figure. And i used bar eyes only to figure this out...

By the way, have you been on drugs? Posting that insane conspiracy story and giving those shitty mails away, at the same time you hurt three companies, that is gonna get you bad...

see ya,

NeXuS

Meanwhile, as readers were sounding off about the off-the-wall mailbag, our good friend Anna (if that is her real name), was at it again, rattling off poignant and stylized leaks from the inside. This time, however, the letters came from the mailbox of "frig it". Apparently, Anna was able to hack the e-mail account of Mr. or Mrs. Frigit, attempting to conceal her already-exposed identity. Nice try lady.

Constructive Criticism

pussies at io interactive
spending just 10 months on a supposed new game
only grafx tricks and minor shit no multiplayer features still on hitman
real shitty team

frit it

Call to Arms
A PC GAME WITHOUT MULIPLE PLAYERS IS SO UTTERLY BORING AS TO BE WORTHLESS, WE LIVE IN THE AGE OF THE INTERNET, OF CONNECTIONS, OF BEING ABLE TO PLAY ALONE OR AGAINST A FRIEND. I CALL FOR A BOYCOTT OF ALL PC GAMES THAT ARE NOT BOTH SINGLE AND MULTIPLAYER

frig it
