Alternate Reality: The City.  A modular RPG that allows characters to leave one game and enter another in the series by simply inserting a new disk.  Unfortunately, this feature was impossible to use on the ST version because "The City" was the only module produced.

The Atari ST is relatively unknown today, but at its peak in the late 1980's, the ST was one of the most popular gaming platforms in the western world, especially in Europe.  Unfortunately, most of my personal collection were bought for playing...before GOTCHA came into existence.  In order to save space, I threw away many of the boxes, but kept and filed the instructions and original disks.  All Atari ST games in the GOTCHA Museum are listed below.  Games that still have boxes and have collectable significance are also listed in the Other Collectibles section.

The first game I saw and purchased for the Atari ST was Brataccas, by Psygnosis -- one of the many European game developers who would ride the ST and Amiga platforms to prolonged success in the industry.  Brataccas was the game that sold me on the Atari ST at the store.  I later found out that it had some serious control problems, but it sure looked good at the time.  I consider two Atari ST games (above all other ST games) to be of historical importance.  The first is Midi Maze, which was basically the pre-cursor to DOOM and was only produced for the ST.  The second is Dungeon Master, which was originally produced for the ST and was an important step in RPG game evolution.  It basically filled the technology gap between older turn based RPGs (Wizardry, Bard's Tale, Alternate Reality) and the free-flowing 3D RPGs (Ultima Underworld, Daggerfall) that came later.
