Hey all, I have been Modding BC for 3 years and have my game most of the way completed finally (50,000 BSOD later).

I need help to finish my game and make my Klingon Scout ships and others more cannon.

I'm pretty good with ship models and textures, but I cannot script, with the exception of cut and paste scripting for reasons of making other peoples mods compatable in my game via console reports.

I was hoping to have someone script me something similar to SDT (skinning and damaging tool) that would continuosly swap out textures rather than doing it upon loading of a model like SDT does. Full time texture swapping.

My idea is to regroup a texture and make it very small (as to not kill too many resources) Make 5 versions of said texture each one different color and/or brightness. Such as the Glowing section of the BOP engine.

Then have this new SDT type program do a full time RANDOM texture swap between the 5 different textures. This is the only way I can think of to make a Bop Impulse engine flicker like in the movie ST3.

Is this doable? Sort of a poor mans animated texture?? And if so any takers on scripting this? So why not just make an animated texture? Because I need it to be fully random. Idea
