Well, here we go, this is going to be my project come schools end.

I am planning on making the MODEL for a bridge of the CIC from The new Battlestar Galactica.

I say Model because I know absolutely nothing about scripting the bridges, or for that matter, making textures.

So, here are my demands.... Wink

1: Refference pictures. I will probably need several of these, simply for the modeling.
2: Plan of the CIC so I know where everyhing goes.

This help would be appreciated hugely.
I'll get cracking at this asap anwyay, it should make for an interesting project nonetheless.

Comments, suggestions and critiscism are as always welcomed.

Agreed.... Right now, I simply plan on extending the edges to make the walls, then delete the floor. Smile

Bit of an update. I started by making the most prolific items in the room.

the Table, 4 pillars and the Dradis console.

I'm having trouble getting pictures of the dradis console though (For those who don't know, that's the thing hanging from the celing.
comments welcome.

Edit: Oh, it may look slightly oblong, that's because I was scrweing around with the perepective. i'll run off another one later.

Yeah, our school always saves up a day over the year tso we can take a 4 day weekend in conjunction with the Bank Holiday weekend.
I'm going to get cracking on it once my sister get's off MY PC....

I have a very helpful site now with lots of refference shots of the bridge, but if anybody else would like to contribute.

I am also putting out a plea to anybody who can texture models, both creation and mapping.
Think of it as a break from the standard LCARS system Smile

EDIT: Picture added, small update from a few minutes work I had. just going to get the shapes right before detailing.

The time has finally come to get back to work. But First... I need to know if there is anybody out there willing to run textures for it. As you all know, I can't texture for the life of me, and I don't really see much point in trying to slave over this unless I can get a texturer to complete it.

So, Any takers?
