Everyone knows and loves the original transformers, i've had this project in mind for a while now but im gonna need serious help, i can model, light and animate and im halfway able to texture. I've been thinking of re-doing the original Transformers Movie in CGI and overlaying the original soundtrack

You're talking about one of the most difficult things to model in the world. Trust me. Having two complete models morph into each other realistically is exceptionally difficult.

Plus, you mention doing a movie. Hell no, it never works.

well thts the trick, isnt it. its ONE model that actually morphs itself, EXTREMELY hard in the design phases, im working on the prime model know and i've gone through about 10 designs for the arms alone

EDIT: heres a short video to illustrate, the arm is 90% complete, the body is just a place holder

I see you've got a few moving panels. Are you basing this on the Masterpiece prime?

I could give the Binaltech Grimlock another shot soon. Or even try and turn my fighter into Starscream

actually im basing the various pieces on different versions, depending what references i can find, but im going for the overal G1 ish look
