Since im not getting an answer from the KM forums,ill ask here..

Has anyone had issues with Ablative armour,multivector shields?,basically all subsystems having to do with ATP1?

Those items wont work with KM and I was told that KM was integrated with ATP1-3,and FTP1-2,and some other new tech stuff..

so how come its not working?

im using the Defiant Class U.S.S. Defiant v.2 for example and its ablative armour doesnt work or the multivector shields..

the way Ablative armour is supposed to work is all subsystems are protected untile the armor is destroyed then the ship takes damage,I take damage anyway and the armour is still up..

IIRC, the ATP versions of the tech don't work.

Also, ablative armour is basically a stronger hull. Which shouldn't stop all subsystems from bieng damaged.

Does it only not work with ships included with KM, and not ones you install afterward?

I remember a fight I had against the wonderful LC Titan, where I hadn't touched its ablative armor and wasn't doing any damage to it. Its shields would go down, but the hull would barely be knicked.

The Defiant Class USS Defiant doesn't have multivectral shields if I recall the HP correctly.
It does have the correct affiliation number and properties for ablative armour which I know works correctly. It was never tested with KM.

yep, in the EOL mod for example, 50% of the time it wouldnt work at all, and a lot of the time, if you change games without reloading BC, the UI would be screwed but when it worked, ablative armor was cool as hell Grin
