There are some funny ones out there. What I'd really like is to know how to make them myself. Then i can upload them to geocities and link from there any ones that I feel apropriate for the conversation. Perhaps a tutorial would be in order.

I like all of these....keep em coming, and thanks for the comliments on the new look. It gels with Nightsoft properties and it makes the place appear more freindly. I don't know if you have noticed......but it seems to have cooled alot of the reponses as well

I've seen some places where the smiles are affected by the same controls as the font size. So If I were to stick a :> smiley in line with a is 8 font, the smiley would be enlarged too. This probably wouldn't work on animated ones though.
