Still in alpha phaze
Our Hero the Same marine from doom 3
Is now in a hospital recouping from the incident
When he starts to pass out in ICU
He goes into a coma and well you wake up in Insanitus Extremus
I am  sooo sorry

Features
An Intense Tactical Shooter
Hordes of Monsters that not even god has seen in a video game.
Take your time or die
This Mod is the Official Unofficial Expansion pack to Doom3 YAY!!!
All Maps are comprised of large simple brushes and matched with a diverse selection of gameplay styles such as tricks traps
The goal of IE was to create the biggest maps with the most monsters
For get all details lets see what the doom 3 engine can do on a simplere scale
Those were my only concerns
I was also using this project as an opportunity to explore create and test tricks traps
And other forms of gameplay
Therefore all maps are low quality
And are reminiscent of the look of doom 1
In one map alone I have over 400 monsters and not one is spawned into attack you
There all there ready and waiting to kick your ass


There is some slow down
You need a HIGH END PC to run this mod
My specs are
3.2 gig intel p4
1 gig corsair ram
1 ati radeon 9800 pro
200 gig harddrive
Asus p4c800-e deluxe motherboard
And cooling out the ying yang

So you will need some thing equivelant to play IE
Faster machines should have no problem playing

Slower machines
OH YEA
So enjoy the game and pay attention to everything that is going on
There is story line fragments everywere along with secrets at every turn and twist in the road
When I started creating IE
I wanted to focus on gameplay
Screw fancy 3d graphics because sometimes gameplay can get lost in all of the mumbo jumbo
So I eliminated everything pretty
Nnothing but large maps with tons of creatures
Along with key cards and any other gameplay technique I can test out
You don’t need fancy graphics to have great gameplay
And with the intense battle comeing forth your way
You will soon see how I prove this point in a matter of seconds

When you get low fps in IE just keep shooting
I have included many video demos showing what I mean
Each part of the maps are to be done certain ways in order to complete
Well to be be more efficeinet
Because you go thru a lot of ammo with 400 plus monsters on your ass

And next time someone says doom 3 cant handle large out doors a lot of monsters
You can show them ie

Because with this project I break many rules of modding
And having pretty maps was one of them
Cause you wont find any here
Most of my maps only have 3 textures floor ceiling and walls
Just like classic doom
Well go play the game and let my cyber demons persuade you into Insanitus Extremus

I also wanted to give IE that Large EPIC feel


Games I am using gameplay from
Rainbow six the hands on tactical feel of stand offs and shoot outs
Serious Sam Large Epic Outdoor feel the relentless monsters
Doom the episode convention along with monster and map creation
This includes tricks traps and other gameplay
