To get the Golden shovel, buy an extra shovel and bury it in a shiney spot. In a few days it'll grow into a Golden Tree and later a shovel will grow on it for you. The Golden shovel will randomly dig up 100 bells when you dig. Many Golden Trees will bring good luck.
To get a Golden Axe, get your town perfect according to the Wishing Well. Keep it perfect for 15 days then visit the well. The Wishing Well spirit, Farly, will give you a Golden Axe. The Golden Axe never breaks no matter how many trees you cut.
To get the Golden Net, catch all 40 insects. To get the Golden fishing Rod, catch all 40 fish. Neither serve any purpose other then that they look cool.
Like the Shovel Tree, find a shiney spot and plant some bells. In a few days the tree will grow with 3 times as much money as you planted. Unlike fruit, the money won't grow back.
You can change how your item screen looks by grabing a shirt while on the item screen and placing it below the bottom row on the final position.
To get any item you earned from Tom Nook sooner, simply save and restart your game. When it starts back up the delivery will have been made.
When you see a ballon floating through town, wait until it's over a tree, then shake the tree. The gift will then be yours.
